The Laramie Project

Performed by students in the Teen Stage program (grades 7-12).

In October 1998 Matthew Shepard is a victim of a horrible hate crime in Laramie, Wyoming. Five weeks after his death, members of the  Tectonic Theater Project went to Laramie and over the course of a year interviewed more than 200 residents. From these interviews they wrote The Laramie Project; a chronicle of life in Laramie in the year after the murder.
