About Classes & Camps
Each year, Berkeley Playhouse welcomes over 1,500 students from grades Pre-K through 12 into our home at the Julia Morgan Theater. We believe in the importance and power of the youth voice and believe that theater has the unique ability to develop confident, compassionate, and empowered young people to have a voice in our community.

Classes & Camps Faculty
Classes and Camps are led by qualified and capable teaching artists. A typical teaching team will be made up of a Lead Teacher and Teacher Assistant. Teaching Artists and teams rotate each semester based on availability and season. Resident Teaching Artists are highly skilled and experienced educators who have committed to teach within our Classes and Camps programs on a yearly basis.

Classes & Camps FAQ
Camps are intensive, daytime programs held during school breaks (Thanksgiving, Winter, Summer) from 9am-3pm. Classes are an afterschool commitment, meeting once or twice weekly for 10 weeks during the Fall and Winter/Spring semesters. Both offer final showings!
