Hazel first joined the Berkeley Playhouse community as a camper in elementary school and hasn’t left since. As a teenager, they supported the Classes and Camps Managers — lovingly referring to the craft supply closet as their office. Hazel assisted with BPH after school dance classes while getting their B.A. in Theater, Dance and Performance Studies at UC Berkeley. They also work on MainStage shows in stage management, child wrangling and as a performer (you should see their high kicks!). Hazel is honored to be the Office Manager at Berkeley Playhouse, the place that taught them their most sincere values of community, empathy, pipe cleaner crafting and singing and dancing.
