Helga has more than 30 years of experience providing strategic leadership and consulting to corporations in the areas of corporate citizenship, social impact and sustainability, government affairs, public policy, community affairs, crisis and external communications, and stakeholder engagement. Helga held various leadership positions, including Global and U.S. Chair of Purpose at Edelman, Head of Local Office for AIDS 2020 at the International AIDS Society, Vice President of External Engagement and Social Responsibility at American Eagle Outfitters, Senior Director of Worldwide Government Affairs and Public Policy at Levi Strauss & Co., Director of Member Services at Business for Social Responsibility, and Legislative Assistant to Senator Edward M. Kennedy, both in his Foreign Policy office and on the Labor and Human Resources Committee.

Helga lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, with her husband Jonah Levy. Together, they have three children, with the youngest daughter having been involved with Berkeley Playhouse for more than 10 years, performing in professional MainStage, TeenStage, and KidStage productions.
