As a newly appointed board member, Danine is thrilled to be affiliated with the Berkeley Playhouse theater community. Her involvement began when her daughter started performing in Berkeley Playhouse productions, and she has been an avid supporter ever since.

Danine brings with her a Bachelor’s Degree from UC Berkeley, a Law Degree from UC Hastings College of Law, and over 15 years of television, film and print media experience. She has appeared as a weekly Trial and Criminal Analyst on Discovery ID, BET and CNN, as well as provided on-air commentary for all major television networks. Additionally, she is a published author who currently works in the field of Criminal Investigations.

Danine is passionate about equity, diversity and inclusion in the theater space and plans to focus her energy on working toward creating an environment at BPH which is representative of the surrounding community.
