Megan Dunbar

Baord Member

As a recently appointed board member, Megan is thrilled to be giving back to the organization that has, for over a decade, provided her daughter with such rich opportunities to grow, expand, perform and mostly, to find her passion for musical theater! In her “day job” Megan is a Public Health professional focusing on HIV prevention and treatment in sub-Saharan Africa. She has worked in both research and non-profit sectors and served on non-profit boards. As such, she brings to Berkeley Playhouse a wealth of experience in non-profit management, and in program development, fundraising and grant-writing. Megan is valued for her willingness to jump in and support the organization in all ways possible, and for her ability to leverage her skills and enthusiasm to help the Playhouse achieve its mission to engage, ignite, and celebrate the diverse Bay Area audiences.
