Dana serves as Director of Development & Community Outreach at Berkeley Playhouse, where she leads fundraising, donor engagement, community partnerships, and accessibility initiatives that expand access to the performing arts and strengthen the organization’s impact.
A Northern California native, Dana has lived in the East Bay for more than a decade. She attended Mills College, where she studied Sociology and Education, and earned a Master of Arts in Education from UCLA, with an emphasis in Race and Ethnic Studies.
Dana has more than 10 years of nonprofit leadership experience spanning the arts, education, and youth development. Before joining Berkeley Playhouse, she served as Education Manager at Sebastopol Center for the Arts during the COVID-19 pandemic, where she led educational programming and directed a supervised distance learning program supporting students facing barriers to academic success.
Dana is passionate about expanding access to the arts, strengthening community partnerships, and helping create welcoming, inclusive spaces where audiences, students, and families feel they belong.
When she’s not at the theater, Dana enjoys hiking with her dog in the Oakland Hills, seeing live music, visiting the farmers market, and cooking delicious meals to share with friends.
