Mike has spent nearly his entire life on and around the stage, building a career defined by a commitment to the craft of theater and sustainability of arts organizations. Before stepping into the role of Managing Director at Berkeley Playhouse, Mike held positions in strategic operations for some of the region’s most prominent arts institutions, including San Francisco Ballet and BroadwaySF. A theater person with a playwright’s ear, he balances an understanding of complex organizational systems with a deep respect for the creative process. Mike is dedicated to ensuring the historic Julia Morgan Theater remains a vibrant and thriving home for young artists and the East Bay community, preserving the magic of live performance for generations to come.
